To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.

The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.

Guy Garvey: “It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there.”

NEW SINGLE 'EMPIRES' OUT NOW

‘Empires’, the new single from elbow’s forthcoming album ‘Giants of All Sizes’, is out now.

Recorded at Clouds Hill Studio, Hamburg, the track bears all the hallmarks of the band’s time together in the intimate recording setting.

“We thought the studio would give us inner city vibes, but we were on the edge of Hamburg which meant we spent more time in Clouds Hill rather than exploring. With time to spare, we sat around and played together in a way we haven’t for a long time, and experimented and improvised with the music which led to the looser feel you hear on ‘Empires’.” – Craig Potter
