Celebrating 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’

To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.

The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.

Guy Garvey: “It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there.”

New Guy Garvey Single 'My Angel' Out Now

Guy Garvey releases a new single today (September 29th). ‘My Angel’ is the theme music to the new BBC One drama ‘Life’, featuring a star-studded cast including Alison Steadman, Peter Davidson, Adrian Lester, Victoria Hamilton, Melissa Johns, Rachael Stirling, Sarah Choudry, Erin Kellyman, Calvin Demba and Joshua James. The first episode of ‘Life’ airs at 9pm tonight (29th September) on BBC One.

Guy again worked with regular collaborators Peter Jobson and Paul Saunderson to write the theme song and the musical score for the show.
