Last night (27.09) Guy Garvey presented ‘The Beatles Orchestrated’, a special programme on BBC Radio 2 as part of RADIO 2 BEATLES, a four-day pop-up DAB radio station.
Broadcasting from London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios, the concert featured unique performances of The Beatles’ music by the BBC Concert Orchestra and guest singers.
The show will be available to listen to on BBC Sounds for 30 days after broadcast.

Celebrating 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’
To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.
The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.
