Celebrating 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’

To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.

The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.

Guy Garvey: “It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there.”

Guy Garvey ‘From The Vaults’

Tune in to Sky Arts on Friday (18th Sept) at 9pm for Guy Garvey’s ‘From The Vaults’. In this brand new series Guy lifts the lid on two decades of TV gold, with era-defining musical performances and revealing interviews from the archives. 

Centred around shows made by ITV companies around the country in the 70s and 80s like Tony Wilson and Granada TV’s ‘So It Goes’ or Tyne Tees’ ground-breaking Channel 4 series The Tube, ‘From The Vaults’ chronicles not just changing musical tastes but evolution in the UK’s social and cultural history.

Episode one includes unseen footage from a Kate Bush concert, and the TV debut from Echo & The Bunnymen.
