Originally released on 7th May 2001, elbow’s debut album introduced tracks including ‘Red’, ‘Newborn’, ‘Powder Blue’ and ‘Scattered Black and Whites’, and was later shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize.
To mark the anniversary, a selection of archive videos, live footage and clips from the long out-of-print ‘Asleep in the Back’ film are now being made available on the band’s official YouTube channel for the first time.

Classic Album Sundays founder and BBC Radio 6 Music host Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will be joined by Guy Garvey in London on Sunday October 6th to take a look at elbow’s brand new album ‘Giants of All Sizes’ in the Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall.
The interview will be followed by an exclusive full playback of the album allowing fans the chance to hear it a week before release.
