To celebrate 25 years of ‘Asleep In The Back’, elbow will return to Manchester’s Ritz this November for three very special hometown shows on 20th, 21st & 22nd November 2026.
The band will perform ‘Asleep In The Back’ in its entirety, alongside selected B-sides and rarities.
Guy Garvey: “It’s fascinating for us to revisit the atmosphere we created, and the Ritz feels like the perfect setting to capture that atmosphere. A time machine night for us and for the fans. See you there.”

The video for the track, which features Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra, continues the theme of connecting with the band’s hometown, Manchester.
Once again collaborating with The Soup Collective, the video for ‘Charge’ tells the story of the Belle Vue Aces, the famous speedway team that first raced in Manchester in 1928.
